Whether you're shooting with a Nikon SB-900, SB-800, SB-700, or SB-600, or a Canon 580 EX version I or II or 430 EX version I or II, or any of the Sony, Pentax, Metz or other Speedlight flashes, you'll get better performance using better batteries.

Hey Matt,

I own about 60 Eneloop batteries and they are fantastic. I use them everywhere I need AA batteries. I love that they are slow to discharge and I even have some 4 year old batteries that are still going strong.

Thanks for the post... good info!

@Michael - I use the Maha MH-C9000 Wizard One and the MH-C800S Eight Cell Smart Charger. LOVE the Maha chargers!

Hello,
Thanks for the information, I helped me to decide to buy the Eneloops.
There is a Eneloop batery "XX powered by eneloop" (2500 mAh), have you ever tested it?
