The 1D family is far more rugged and weather resistant than a D7000. It has better AF performance and other things that won't make any difference to most people. But things like that make the camera price go higher. It has a larger sensor than the D7000 which explains the better High ISO score.
Having said that, why is this guy saying that the D7000 is the best value for money? He hasn't heard of the Pentax K5 which has even better build quality? Or the A580 which has similar sensor performance yet way cheaper in price?
No offense, but such reviewers give review sites a bad name.
