Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 EX DC OS HSM BEATS Canon 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM on DXOMark Test

No secret I'm a big fan of the Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 EX DC OS HSM so it was nice to see my observations backed up by DXOMark's new results against the Canon 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM.

Keep the good glass coming Sigma! I have no problem shooting non-Nikon or non-Canon lenses if it's better glass. :-)

The MTF charts show the Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 OS is off the map for sharpness. In fact it smokes the Nikon 17-55mm f2.8, and it has image stabilization!
