Matt, what is the difference in video between the d3100 and d7000? does the auto focus work better with the d7000? or does it still click and "shake" a lot when it tries to autofocus like the d3100?
Basically the AF-F continous auto focus in video mode is the same on both the Nikon D3100 and Nikon D7000. The D7000 may be a tad better, but they both exhibit the "click and shake" of the sound of the focus system and the hunting of the lens that you're talking about. For me, the AF-F isn't good enough to use yet. Great step forward, but not something I'll be using.
